DELIVERY CHARGES

WE DELIVER NATIONWIDE .

Our website is integrated directly with our Courier Company  in order to give you the lowest shipping rate possible. This rate will be displayed on checkout using your supplied delivery address. Please be sure to spell your address correctly and use the correct postal code to generate the correct shipping rate.
All cages and fish tanks exceeding 90cm or 30kg would need to be quoted on individually.

DELIVERY TIMES

Reptile City Pet Care Products & Accessories carries from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. Regretfully, No Deliveries on Weekends or Public Holidays. Reptile City will do all to ensure we deliver on time as pledged. However, things happen and so we are unable to promise that all orders will be delivered on time.
Expect delivery within 1-4 working days. Note: a day refers to a normal business day and would exclude Saturday/Sunday and public holidays.
Note: We start counting days from the time your order is paid, so this depends on your payment method:

  • EFT payments – Once proof of payment has been received (email to sales@reptilecity.co.za)
  • Credit/Cheque Card – The following business day after the order has been placed If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. If you are unavailable to take delivery or collection, we may leave a card giving you instructions on either re-delivery or collection from the carrier.

RECEIVING YOUR ORDER

We only deliver to registered customers within certain specified delivery areas.

For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification and to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt.

Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the carrier will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to that effect. The carrier or one of our representatives will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge. Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an email to confirm your order. Please check the email details to ensure that it accurately reflects your order. If you notice any missing items or errors in your order, immediately contact Reptile City on 27 11 0837007 or send an email detailing the issue to sales@reptilecity.co.za so that we can amend your order accordingly.
If you have chosen to pay by EFT you will receive an email confirming that your order has been paid once we received and processed your proof of payment.
When your order has been dispatched from our warehouse, you will be sent a final email to confirm that your package has been shipped and is on its way.
