I approached Ian with a problem with cooling my reptile room. I have an extractor fan which is constantly running and wanted to be a bit more conservative. He came back to me with this cooling thermostat which works perfectly. Unlike normal thermostats this one remains off until it reaches a certain temp. I.E when my room drops to 22 degree’s the fan switches off preventing the room from getting any cooler, as soon as the room gets warmer than 22 degrees the fan switches on again. I’m using this in conjunction with a normal thermostat connected to a panel heater so I can keep my room between 22 and 28 degrees. Works like a charm.
