Product Description
Eco friendly husks of coconuts. Ideal for naturalistic terrarium type setups incorporating reptiles, amphibians or invertebrates. Use it damp for tropical species as it naturally absorbs and breaks down door and waste products.
This ecological substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in the terrarium and is totally safe for frogs, salamanders and burrowing or digging animals.
The Coco-chips are washed in clean water to achieve a material which can be safely used in growing media with low EC level (salt content). Using Coco chips as an additive in potting mixtures creates a growing medium with the ideal physical properties.

This stuff is awesome for tortoises. My Sulcata loves crawling in this coco husk, its much more stimulating than coco fibers. Ive used it for over a month and I haven’t seen any mold yet. I have 80% humidity in my enclosure and I make sure to stir the substrate around once a week to avoid molding
