5 out of 5 Very hot! Intense is right.

Very hot! Intense is right. A bit much for our hermit crabs all day, but I use it for short periods of time and they seem to respond well. Just make sure you are monitoring the temperature and humidity of your aquarium! This definitely dried our our “crabitat” more quickly than our regular light bulbs.

4 out of 5 Great basking light!

I’ve been using these bulbs for my Bearded Dragons for over 7 years. I find them to be great basking lights. They provide a good source of heat and also just natural light that reptiles need.
