Product Description

Exo-Terra Feeding Tongs

Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, Exo Terra Tongs are an excellent tool for feeding live insects to reptiles and amphibians. The long, ergonomic pincers make feeding easy and provide enough distance to prevent stress in the feeding animal, while the tips have been “soft-coated” to prevent mouth injury and to provide a firm grip on live feeder insects.

5 out of 5 Great tongs to help prevent mouth injuries!

These tongs are great! I have used them a couple times to feed pinkies to my baby corn snake. I already had two different lengths of tongs that were metal, but I wanted something that wouldn’t be as harsh if my snake accidentally grabbed the tongs when striking at the mouse; as well as something that wouldn’t tear the super thin skin of the mouse. These are perfect and they’re a good length.

4 out of 5 They've held up well and they work fine for handling F/T pinkies and fuzzies

They’ve held up well and they work fine for handling F/T pinkies and fuzzies. Got them because I was freaked out by stories of people killing their snakes by dropping metal tweezers on them. They’ve done just fine so far. They also don’t reflect light, which seems to distract some of my snakes when trying to feed. My young hognose does hate them, though. Probably because they look so big from the side to him.

5 out of 5 Great for roaches, not for crickets!

The nice thing about these is that the padded tips save my tarantula from a chipped fang if his surgical strike isn’t as surgical as usual. However, those same padded tips make it exceedingly difficult to catch a cricket with these. Compared to my plain metal ones, these are a nightmare for cricket-hunting! Great for roaches, though. Roaches are slower, so they tend to have fewer problems with catching them and holding them.

    4 out of 5 A Savior!

It’s not easy to hold on to a wiggling cricket. Even worse, it’s kind of disgusting. But as a chameleon owner, sometimes it has to be done. Well, until I bought these tweezers, at least. Now I can pick them up, but never have to use my fingers to do so. This is also especially helpful when I plan to feed my chameleon dubia roaches. I refuse to tough those, and this will now take care of that for me.

Well worth the price. These tongs are clearly built to last and are so sturdy that you wont have a problem with feeders escaping into yor home.
