Bark nuggets are great for reptiles that love humidity, they can however, provide the basis for a forest theme setup.
These mid-range Bark Nuggets are small sized fir bark chips that have the fines removed.
Sizes range from 1” to 1-1/2”.
This material has a very clean and formal look, giving small shrubs a beautiful backdrop.

I’d always used Cyprus mulch in past, decided to give the brown nuggets a try and glad I did. Color looks great and they’re much easier to spread, you can pour right out of bag into place.

This mulch worked perfectly for my new flower beds. My only suggestion is to plan on a minimum 3″ depth. You can’t spread this at a 2″ depth due to the size of the nuggets.you will see right through it to the dirt or weed barrier. I measured for 2″ depth then ended .up needing to pickup an additional 15 bags just to cover the beds properly. Whatever the Lowe’s calculator says, just add 10% and you’ll be fine.
