5 out of 5 Gets the job done

This snake hook is very strong and light. I though it would be flimsy when I felt the weight but that is not the case. I t is a little long but that hasn’t been a problem yet.

5 out of 5 Hooks snakes!

So far, so good, except there are no real snakes to hook in the snows of New England right now! This was a Christmas gift for my son, the future herpetologist. Seems nice and sturdy and the length means he’ll be far away from the critter he’s trying to catch – that’s a good thing!

4 out of 5 Very Useful Tool To Handle Snakes

Worked well along with my snake tongs to handle and harvest my first rattlesnake. I ended up handling a few more rattlesnakes we released back to their habitat. The snake hook helped support the snake as we manipulated it to take measurements and count subcaudal scales to determine the sex. A great experience and a very useful tool.

5 out of 5 Great hook, great gift!

I purchased this for my dad for a christmas gift and he was delighted with it! The hook is actually a golf club with a nice, sturdy textured rubber grip at one end and a hook wedged and glued into the hollow shaft of the club at the other end. The hook is solid, not hollow, but if you smack the stick around you’re going to dent the hollow shaft.
