We have all purchased tweezers at one time or another and a lot of the time we get whatever the big box store has in stock. however I’ve found that most of these aren’t very precise and as a result removing a sliver from a hand becomes a guessing game as to whether or not the tweezers has sufficient grasping power to do the job or if you’ll have to give it six or eight attempts before it works properly.

For the last decade or so, I have only used Tweezerman tweezers, because of the quality and longevity of them. My first pair lasted about 8-9 years and the second pair would have lasted longer if I didn’t drop them and dent the sharp corner on the tile floor.

I bought these to replace a few sets of tweezers that didn’t really grab well at the edges – leading to frustration when you couldn’t grab what you wanted to grab without many tries. These had no problem pulling a splinter even when I only grab a little bit of it, and I imagine it would do the same thing with hair. I just wish I had replaced all my cheap junk sooner! Recommended.

After my last scissor-action tweezer bent out of shape, I went on the hunt for new ones. I hesitated to buy an angle tweezer; really glad I did! It can pull the smallest, thinnest hairs with ease. And it is sturdy enough to not bend in the middle when using it. The poin cover and sleeve are a nice touch.
